About Us

Yard Dooty is a locally owned, family-run pooper scooper service founded by Michael and Heidi, and their son Jeremiah. What began as a shared business idea grew out of real-life experience—and a lifelong familiarity with picking up after dogs.
Michael is a local business owner who grew up with dogs, where picking up the poop was always his chore. After years of dealing with the same task as a homeowner and dog owner himself, he knew there had to be a better, more reliable option for busy families. That firsthand experience shaped Yard Dooty’s commitment to thorough, consistent, and no-shortcuts service.
Heidi is a semi-stay-at-home mom, doing more work than any of us, raising three other kids, working, and homeschooling all at the same time. So adding another business to the plate was nothing "extra" for her as a super mom!
Jeremiah, a sophomore in college, brings energy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to the business while gaining real-world entrepreneurial experience. Together, they combine experience and drive to deliver dependable pet waste removal that homeowners can trust.
The inspiration behind Yard Dooty also includes our seven-year-old Labradoodle, Nala, and all the other pets that have graced our lives in the past. Like most dog owners who love the puppy and a clean yard, but no one seems to volunteer to keep it clean, especially the dog.
We understand that pet waste isn’t just unpleasant—it’s a health concern and a barrier to enjoying your yard. That’s why we focus on reliable scheduling, thorough cleanups, and sanitary practices every visit. Whether you need weekly service or a one-time cleanup, we show up on time and leave your yard noticeably cleaner.
As a family business in Winter Springs, Fl, we treat every customer like a neighbor. We value clear communication, honest pricing, and respect for your property. Our goal is simple: to give you back your time, your weekends, and a yard you can enjoy again. When you choose Yard Dooty, you’re not just hiring a pooper scooper—you’re supporting a local family business built on real experience, hard work, and a love for dogs (including Nala).
